Radiation Therapy
The Palm Beach Cancer Institute's Radiation Therapy Center is the premier cancer program in Palm Beach County. We offer our patients the individualized attention they need, combining compassionate, personalized medical management with the latest in treatment and imaging technology. During your first visit you will meet with your radiation oncologist. He/She may consult with any other specialists as necessary before your treatment begins to determine the best course of action for you. In addition, other members of the Cancer Team such as the Physicist, Dosimetrist, Radiation Nurse and Radiation Therapists may be brought in to help plan your optimal course of treatment and to assist you in successfully managing your care.
The objective of radiation therapy is to maximize cancer treatment while minimizing side effects. Each patient's case presents unique challenges and requires individualized attention; therefore, we urge you to consult with your radiation oncologist about which treatment plan is best for you.
