Robert J. Green, M.D., M.S.C.E

Dr. Green is a board-certified medical oncologist at the Palm Beach Cancer Institute.  He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).  He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Duke University and completed his residency in internal medicine and an oncology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he also earned a Master of Science degree in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics.

Dr. Green treats all forms of cancer, but has a particular interest and expertise in gastrointestinal malignancies such as colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, gastric cancer and esophageal cancer.

In 1999, he received ASCO's merit award for research of colorectal cancer and received a training grant from the National Cancer Institute. 

A native of West Palm Beach, Florida, Dr. Green is involved in and committed to the local community.  He is an executive member of the board of directors of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and on the board of directors of Temple Israel in West Palm Beach and the Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy in West Palm Beach. In his spare time, Dr. Green is a pilot, avid runner and marathoner.  He is married and is the father of three young children.
